Small businesses are starting to consider if they need to pay tax out of state, shares today’s WSJ.
Most of Bridge retailers do not ship more than $100K in goods to another state, so they are exempt from most the new state tax laws.
Overall, the new tax collection efforts are going to affect midsize and large online players (e.g. Amazon, Wayfair, etc.), and that's good for our indie stores. These laws helps level playing the field.
