Today is National Pickle Day! Some of our favorites are Lauri Jo's, especially her Green Tomato Pickles. These pickles take 5 days to make, are sweet yet tangy, crisp and crunchy, and just dog-gone delicious! Chop them up and add to potato salad, deviled eggs, or slaw and you will never use any other kind of pickle again. They are a stand-alone food, too. Men love them with vegetables or fish. They are just that good.
