From Sunday's NY Times, this article highlights how retail is at a tipping point with the shift from brick & mortar to e-commerce. While it is a big concern to all, we have you covered: Bridge has helped its retailers process 32% more in sales over the last year vs the year before. Bridge's mobile retail software has seen an increase of 55% year over year. As the retail landscape continues to shift, we are moving right along with it.
Enrico, the historic maker of wood products for the kitchen and home, is joining Bridge.
I read the founding story behind Enrico and enjoyed it. Please read this sweet story:
The Enrico Products collection began with a decades old hard cheese grater design borrowed from Enrico Ratti, the grandfather of co-founder Jim Ratti and has naturally been extended to other types of home décor and kitchenware. In what month do most of your orders occur?
I spoke with a retailer today and he was remarking about the lack of sales this month. I looked at his sales and I saw that his sales were in line with past years. He didn't realize that year over year, February is one of the slowest months for his store. As you can see in the attached image, his store's busiest month is September. September had 15x more online orders than February.
Stores go thru the sales cycles. Since Bridge helps a lot of indie ...

Happy Thanksgiving! Around this time of the year, we often get nostalgic and buy some gifts for friends. What better way to pay homage to these past times than to share the history of the "$" sign. The sign is an abbreviation for the word "peso" dating back to the Revolutionary War. The creator would abbreviate "peso" as "ps" and he'd merge the two letters.
Excerpt: "Pollock...entered the abbreviation 'ps' by the figures for 'peso.' Because Pollock recorded these Spanish "dollars" or "pesos" as '...
