This is a cool story of how a retailer got a new e-commerce store filled with product that it loves and the retailer didn't pay for it:
1. A Texas retailer went to the Bridge site (http://www.BridgeCatalog.com) 2. It signed up for Bridge at 12:25 pm EST. 3. At 12:50, the retailer sent a product sync request to Casafina (a maker of tableware) to sync products. 4. Casafina approved the request at 2:54 pm. How does your physical store compare your online store? I created this comparison below for my marketing friend Diane.
Your Physical Store vs. Your Online Store:
Sidewalk = small websites and blogs that lead to your website, such as local newspaper sites, local community groups, a bride’s gift registry that links to your store. These sites provide: foot traffic.
Road = major websites that lead to your website, such as Facebook, the New York Times site, etc. These sites provide:
How can you update a registry to show that you gave a bride her gift card? Easy, just check "Yes" for "Your business has validated that bride completed 5 steps" in her profile.
This will change the green "Win..." box to say "Nice Work". This gray box tells the bride that she has completed the steps.
Every time that you give a bride her gift card for completing the five steps, be sure to check this box in her registry. This will help you and the bride keep accurate records.
Reminder: starting tomorrow your site, as a default will be set up to give brides $20 for completing a five-step incentive program.
