During the trade shows, retailers ask brands for price lists, Excel files, and PDFs. Did you know Bridge can help retailers and brands store and share these files?
You can load and share these types of files:
Price lists
Excel files
Catalogs
PDFs
These files also appear alongside Bridge Smart Products. Businesses have one easy spot to see products AND files. Only Bridge lets you show real-time, organized products alongside files.
Are your store displays 'frozen' in time? Compare Target and Kohl's Frozen 2 displays.
Retail Dive shares this observation:
A "Frozen 2" display at Target (top photo) fosters discovery, while the same goods at Kohl's (pictured lower) are stacked efficiently. "The two photographs say everything about how those companies operate," says retail consultant Sanford Stein.
I believe that Constant Contact is falsely promoting it is offering a free online store. I say this because the free service allows you to offer just 3 products and you must display a big advertisement for Constant Contact. Most retailers offer hundreds or thousands of products. A super small number of stores can offer just 3 products online. In addition, most stores don't want a big advertisement at the bottom of their website. Yet, if one were to visit Contact Contact's website services page...

Breaking up big tech is gaining steaming as its negative impact is felt wider and wider, shares today’s NYT.
Juliska’s Florence collection, redesigned for ease of use and featuring the historic Bohemian ‘Prunt’ motif of indulgent droplets, is the perfect way to cheer the day in opulent, fun, and irresistibly tactile style.

Wayfair had about 4 buyers visiting 41 Madison showrooms last week. While the building and showrooms love buyers, I'd suggest some caution with Wayfair since it’s hemorrhaging money. Check out the attached graph.
Does traffic seem worse? It may be your neighbors’ 1.5 million daily packages being delivered, shares today’s Times.
My neighborhood is bombarded by trucks—and delivery people often ringing every apartment buzzer in a building to contact just one apartment.
Interesting stats from the article: + Homes now get more packages delivered than businesses. + Traffic speeds have slowed over the last decade. + 2 million square Feet of warehouse space is being built in NYC. + Carbon dioxide emissions ...

Stack those pancakes high and top it with Kettle Ridge syrup! Why is this sweet stuff so delicious? Because it’s local and made with love! This little farm is finding ways to educate and entertain their guests to the farm and we are ALL about that. If you haven’t head of Kettle Ridge, it might be time to pull up a chair to the breakfast table for a big treat. We were curious about how the modern day farmer gets their start and what goes into creating the sweet life on a sustainable farm.
How the program works: 1. Refer a retailer to Bridge. E-mail us the store’s name. We’ll do the rest of the work. E-mail: [email protected] 2. After the store is active 60 days, we'll send you a check for $50. :)
What the store receives: This reminded me: I'm happy to mail you $50 for referring a store.
For free, your stores can receive: 1. A Bridge account filled with professional product pictures and accurate prices. 2. Award-winning e-commerce and...

I believe that offering greater online selection is increasingly important in retail.
Greater selection is important for many reasons including:
1. Giving shoppers more choices. More choices lead to more sales.
2. Helping stores be more competitive. Shoppers know that big online retailers like Amazon offer millions of products, and thereby millions of possible price points and features. Offering something similar is the natural route to get those orders back from Amazon.
3. Boosting a ...

There are millions of indie stores in the world who don’t get to succeed online. They get ripped off by web designers and coders, pay more in local taxes than big tech companies, don’t have access to cheap money from Wall St. (like big tech companies), and can’t protect themselves from hackers looking to steal credit cards. They are prevented them from running their business, helping their customers, and servicing their communities. Due to these expenses and ...

This month’s HFN magazine shares a letter that I wrote to the editor. In the letter, I encourage the industry to team up and push back against Amazon and big online entities in order to ensure our long-term survival. I welcome your feedback on it.
