Wonder how prices are so low on Amazon? Yes, many items are stolen (at the time of purchase) or counterfeit, but there’s another reason: they’re bought after you buy them using stolen credit cards. In other words, they’re stolen after the ‘legit’ purchase. Recently, a retailer reported that it was being asked to ship Versace items to far off locations, only to have the credit card holder say it didn’t order them. They say their credit card was stolen. The reason the scammer ordered the goods ...

What's the most popular registry item? The Knot reports it’s the KitchenAid mixer.
More from the article:
"...the other items that made the top five most-requested on The Knot Registry were all kitchen-related: stainless steel measuring cups, a set of Pyrex containers, a toaster and Ninja blender.

For kitchen preparations with personality, look no further than a MacKenzie-Childs colander! The steel underbody makes this piece a workhorse and the hand-painted (Courtly Check and Royal Check) and hand-decorated (Flower Market) patterns give some pizzazz to polishing potatoes and sass to straining salads. We like to keep ours out on the counter with fresh cherry tomatoes, strawberries, or other yummy goodies! All patterns are available at Oh Kay's!

Look what we just received! These Royal Check canisters have us feeling anything BUT (royal) blue! Pantry staples - flour, sugar, and coffee - might seem the most obvious contents with which to fill these canisters, but the possibilities are endless! Keep them in the kitchen with coffee beans and tea bags, cookies and candies, or dog biscuits and birdseed - or invent new uses around the house! Pictured here in medium and large; the small is on its way!

Cozina bakers don't get enough attention. Cozina is that timeless, neutral pattern that goes with everything. The serving pieces and dinnerware are wonderful and don't miss these 3 shapes of bakers, rectangular, square and round. Not just for kitchen stores but general gift stores too.

How does the retail industry compare to the restaurant industry? Both may be selling fewer high margin items, and giving up more of the profit to third-party platforms. While a restaurant pays a commission to DoorDash, retailers selling on Amazon may pay it 30%. And when a store sells on Amazon it doesn’t get the customer’s email or contact information. It’s like a restaurant being turned into a back-end catering kitchen that never sees the eating guest. That’s not a recipe for success.
