Can you relate to this: On Monday a jewelry store was scrambling to send an advertisement to a printer. They needed a logo from a brand quickly. Using Bridge's Library, retailers have immediate access to brands' hi-resolution logos.
Above is an example. This is a retailer's Newsfeed. The Newsfeed is showing that Fiskars loaded logos for Waterford, Wedgwood, and other notable brands. Fiskars' Bridge retailers have quick, one click access when they need it.

When retailers think of their competition, they often think of domestic players. Well, now foreign retailers can be added to that list. Today's WSJ reports that import duties have been reduced and it's now easy to buy up to $800 in goods from abroad. For example, previously a $300 purchase would have from $100 to $300 of duties added. A $300 purchase became $400 to $600. Now zero would be added.

You work hard to get a bride to register at your store. But then the wedding date approaches and nothing has been sold. Why is this? The single biggest reason is that the bride has not linked her wedding website (e.g. theknot.com) to her registry on your website. If the bride doesn't link the two, you'll sell very little. Your mission: link the two. You can read how to do it by clicking the link below or I can call you and walk you through it. My email is: [email protected]
This is a cool story of how a retailer got a new e-commerce store filled with product that it loves and the retailer didn't pay for it:
1. A Texas retailer went to the Bridge site (http://www.BridgeCatalog.com) 2. It signed up for Bridge at 12:25 pm EST. 3. At 12:50, the retailer sent a product sync request to Casafina (a maker of tableware) to sync products. 4. Casafina approved the request at 2:54 pm. Aka: within about an one hour, and after $0, the retailer had 1,187 Casafina items on its site....

How do your shipping prices compare to Amazon's? Not good news: you're probably paying 300% more. That's like it buying an item at $100 while you pay $300. Today's WSJ does an expose on shipping charges.
These different shipping rates are one reason Amazon can afford to offer "free shipping" -- free shipping for it costs two thirds less than what it costs you. When you start talking next day shipping, Amazon's clout has even more benefit: you pay about 600% more in shipping charges.

New feature: retailers and vendors can now collaborate to run sales on the retailer's website
In the example shown, Waterford is running a sale on all of its Bridge retailers' sites. The screen shots here show you how the Bridge retailer Shulans sees the promotional information.
Shulans can see the Waterford promotion in a few spots: 1. When Shulans visits its public Waterford page, Shulans can see a red horizontal promotional bar. This bar appears to it as well as the public.
Your preferred customer program, POS or even just your intuition should make it possible to identify those individuals who mean the most to your business. It pays to give VIP treatment to these βregularsβ whose loyalty is key to your success.
