If you use the gift card option at Amazon, this is what you could expect. Imagine if this were a bridal registry item.
Just to clarify, the gift was a book written by a third friend, so the request for the review was from the giver of the gift (me), not Amazon.
One of the frequently mentioned points on store reviews of Bridge Websites are the hand-written gift cards. That personal service is what makes our stores special.

Today, Shopify emailed me asking me to choose one of its paid plans. My free trial with it is expiring. As you may recall, last week I setup an online store to check out the service in order to compare it to Bridge. (Please read my review of Shopify here.)
What I find interesting is that most services offer a free account. A free account often lets you enter a limited amount of products. Shopify does not offer a free account. It offers a free 14-day trial. Thereafter, plans start at $29/month.
Recently, two business friends told me to check out Shopify. They said they were using it to manage online stores. Since my company Bridge offers e-commerce software to 200+ retailers, I was curious to see how Shopify compared.
I signed up for an account as if I were a retailer.
I thought the sign up process was pretty easy. They didn't even ask me for a password. They automatically gave me one that I could change later.
