Here in the Northeast the weather has been playing ping pong with us. It's mainly been warm (relative to what we're used to experiencing this time of year) with cold snaps that chill you to the bone. It is this time of year when butternut squash and other hearty vegetables are still in season. So, why not make yourself some butternut squash soup? Freeze it and pull it out during the next snowstorm. It will warm you right up!
