At market show in Atlanta, Arte Italica had the βmaster artistβ for Medici (fluer de lis) and Burano (blue and white) Absolutely amazing hand painted porcelain from Italy! She only spoke Italian but her Talent was amazing and so much enjoyed watching her work. It is hard to believe that 20 years has passed since Arte Italica was first created by Ann Skidmore, a stay at home mom in CA. Ann started Arte Italica from her home and the first shipments were from her garage, with all the family helping out! Italian for enchantment, Incanto designs were inspired by Italian art, the landscape, as well as Venetian history. The soft ripples of the water of the Adriatic Sea are mimicked in the ruffle design.
