October is National Women's Small Business Month

This month we recognize and celebrate the achievements of women entrepreneurs and the contributions of women-owned businesses to the economy. As Ginger's Breadboys is a woman-owned small business we thought we shared some ways to celebrate National Women's Small Business Month.

• Support local businesses: Patronize women-owned businesses in your area.
• Write reviews: Share your experience on social media with a positive review of a woman-owned business you visited.
• Learn about resources: The Small Business Administration (SBA) offers resources for women entrepreneurs, including how to apply for and maintain certification as a women-owned business.

Some other facts about women-owned businesses:

• In 2023, there were almost 13 million women-owned businesses in the United States.
• Women-owned businesses generate $1.8 trillion in revenue.
• In 2021, 49% of all businesses started in the U.S. were launched by women.

We think this is kinda' cool!

Now go out and shop local. Chances are, the business is owned by a woman!
