New Software Features & Updates
How your business can communicate registry terms and conditions to your registrants.
Your Shop Local Store has a new feature: Your business can now choose to require registrants to agree to registry terms and conditions. If your business requires registrants to agree to terms and conditions, you can add your business's registry terms and conditions to your account.
Your registry terms and conditions will be displayed to the registrant in the following areas:
- When a registrant signs up for a new registry, your terms and conditions will appear in a window that the registrant can view.
- In the welcome email, a link to these terms will exist.
- A registrant can access these terms any time on their Registry Overview page accessible from their account.
Please follow the steps below to access this feature:
- Log in to your Shop Local account.
- Hover over Management at the top of your account. From the drop-down menu, under My Business Profile & Settings, click Gift Registry.
- In the Registry Services section on the left of the Registry Service Settings page, please find "When a registrant starts a registry online, require them to agree to terms and conditions?"
- If you do not wish to require registrants to agree to terms and conditions, leave the drop-down menu set to "No."
- If you wish to require registrants to agree to terms and conditions, set the drop-down menu to "Yes."
- Once the terms and conditions drop-down has been set to "Yes," a new field where you can enter your registry terms will appear.
- In the "Your Registry Terms" field, please enter the terms and conditions you wish to display to registrants.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save Your Changes.
