Updated Feature: More Easily Share a Registry or Product via Mobile
How to send a link of a registry or product to family and friends via text, email, or social media.
Your Shop Local Store has an updated feature: We made it easier to share a registry or product with family and friends via mobile. The new "Share" link opens a tray with various options for sharing the link to a registry or product.Previously, one had to follow multiple steps to share a link:
- Copy a link to a registry or product.
- Open an email or text to the person they wish to send a link to.
- Paste the link.
- Click send.
Now, a user can click "Share" and select one of the options built in to their phone to share a link. These options include:
- Text or messaging app (ex: Apple Messages, WhatsApp, Google Chat).
- Social media messaging (ex: Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat).
- Email (ex: AppleMail, Outlook, Gmail).
- AirDrop to a nearby Apple computer.
- Copy the link to send an alternate way.
Please follow the steps below to view this feature:
- Visit a member's Shop Local Store on your mobile phone.
- Search for or browse to a registry or product.
- Click the "Share" link on the registry or product's page.
