Background
- You just created a registry for a registrant, and a customer came in and purchased a gift for that registry. Now it’s time to make a digital copy of that purchase on your Shop Local Store so that the bride knows a gift has been purchased.
- You log in to your account and enter the registry you wish to update, but you can’t seem to be able to make your digital copy.
If you are unsure what a digital copy of an in-store purchase is or how to make one in the first place, please click on the link below for more information:

What happened?
- You log in to your account and enter the registry you wish to update and you can’t seem to be able to make your digital copy.
- This is a common issue that retailers encounter.
- The most likely reason that the option of creating a digital copy isn’t present is because you (the retailer) are on the wrong page.
- Luckily, this is an easy fix.
Here are the steps to ensure you're on the correct page:
- Log in to your Shop Local Store.
- Hover over Gift Registry in the horizontal navigation bar, and from the drop-down menu, click on Gift Lists.
- On the Registry Lists page, click on the registrant's name for which you want to record an in-store purchase.
- You'll be taken to the registrant's Overview page. The option to record an in-store purchase is not available on this page.
- To access the page where you can enter an in-store purchase, click Gift List in the registry navigation.
- On the registry's Gift List page, you should now see "Enter Gift Purchase For This Item." This link allows you to enter an in-store purchase for the registry.
