Beatriz Ball Collection, the premier manufacturer of fine handmade metalware, has re-launched its company web site, www.beatrizball.com, as an ecommerce site, powered by Shopatron. With Shopatron's retail-friendly solution for branded manufacturers, brands sell on their own websites, and send orders to their retail partners for fulfillment.
What is Shopatron?
· Founded in 2001, the Shopatron ecommerce platform works with over 1,000 brands and thousands of retail partners across more than 40 industries.
· By enlisting retailers as fulfillment partners, Shopatron eliminates channel conflict, builds retailer relationships, grows distribution and increases overall sales for all parties.
How does Shopatron work?
· Basically, when a customer visits the site, she selects items and places them in a shopping cart as she would on any other site. Once she places the order, however, Shopatron takes over.
· Shopatron places the order into an online bucket, and participating retailers have the opportunity to claim and fill the order. Retailers login to Shopatron daily to keep on top of what products are selling.
· The order typically goes to the retailer closest in proximity to the recipient, but if that retailer cannot fill the order, it is filled by another.

· Link to MyRegistry.com which allows customers to add gifts from any website onto one universal gift registry.
